Tribute to Chinese Spaceflight
In homage to Chinese spaceflight, on July 23, 2020, at 12:41 a.m., the Tianwen-1 probe was launched by the Long March 5 remote 4 launch vehicle from Wenchang Spaceport, China. In 2021, it reached Mars, and on February 10, at 19:52 a.m., the Tianwen-1 probe successfully entered Mars orbit. On May 15, 2021, the Tianwen-1 landing rover landed on the southern pre-selected landing zone of the Martian Utopia Plain, marking China’s first successful Mars exploration mission.
